After my gym sesh, tried this Pakistani restaurant in that gym neighbourhood and it was drool worthy! Guys the buffet was crazy awesome; the meat literally falls off the bones, lentils melting in your mouth as you grab a bite. Spice was also perfect . Lovely pictures of Pakistan village life I’m presuming on the side in frames on walls. This restaurant was better than all the Indian restaurants I’ve been to in the city. It was mind blowing‼ The Mango Lassi also was so intensely mango and natural; superbly blended with milk to create a thick shake. All the consistencies were perfect…completely on point. This is the best South Asian restaurant in Winnipeg, hands down. It is A1, just as the restaurant name suggests‼ I was satiated to the core guys; food and drink was unbelievably great, so was the ambience!
We have been multiple times and continue getting takeout from this location, finally getting to share a review as we’ve tried the Iftaar buffet - all was very good, would recommend as the price is very reasonable and a good variety of items. Food was hot and fresh and service was attentive, I recommend calling in advance for a reservation. Very good authentic biriyani and delicious chai. We also really enjoy the Nihari here we’ve gotten as a takeout.
“Very tasty Pakistani-style biryani and more, all at very reasonable prices. We ordered single portions of chicken biryani for just $16.90 (including tax), and each portion was generous enough for two people. And their take out is even lesser price, just 9.99 for Chicken Biriyani. They also offer an all-you-can-eat buffet on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for only $25 per person. Highly recommended — the food is 100% tasty! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the washrooms are clean. They keep the buffet well-stocked without delays, and the food is always served hot.”
I had a really good experience at this Pakistani restaurant with my family. We had their buffet which was amazing! The Nihari was absolutely delicious — rich, perfectly spiced, and full of authentic flavor. The meat was so tender it just fell apart, and it paired perfectly with the fresh, warm naan. Huge shoutout to server, Elham, who was absolutely outstanding! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. Her service really stood out. Also, the owner was very welcoming and kind — you can tell they truly care about their customers. This place has both great food and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Pakistani comfort food!
We came from Ontario Toronto by car and stopped at Winnipeg to rest…. After checking in at the hotel we were so hungry of all day driving non stop then we searched for halal Pakistani restaurant and we found this restaurant and no doubt the food was sooo delicious the show stopper was tandoori roti garam garam with butter on it we all ate so well alhamdulilah … the staff was so helpful and kept on asking if are ok with everything. We ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka, lahori channay and beef nihari.
Best Experience ever I tried Fried fish, Saag & Tawa roti and dal chana as well. Everything was super delicious. Hygienic,well maintained,super clean & staff is very Friendly. Must Visit with your family and friends, you won’t regret
